Jensen Convertible

1974 - 1976

production number: 512

About one-eighth of the total production of the Jensen Interceptor III was a Convertible. Most of them were left hand drive and were mainly exported to North America. Very little chassis work was needed to improve the strength and stiffness of the “standard” Interceptor. This in combination with a new rear with boot lid resulted in a very balanced appearance. With just the push of a switch, the roof was hydraulically folded. Air conditioning and power windows were standard. Although sometimes unnoticed in the automotive literature; it is one of the finest convertibles made in England.

Note: The number of 512 convertibles does not include the 8 Interceptor Convertibles S4 (1983 – 1992).
