Jensen FF
1966 - 1971
production number: 320
Only produced in RHD where the designation FF stands for Ferguson Formula four-wheel drive. A Chrysler V8 engine coupled to a TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission powered this unique car. Also unique was the Maxaret anti-lock braking system. The Jensen FF was not the only four-wheel drive car in the history of the automotive industry, but it was the first in series production. After all, the Bugatti Tipo 53s with four-wheel drive was already used in racing.
The FF is slightly longer than the Interceptor, has two vents on the sides of the front wings, an air intake on the hood and a more angular nose.
Today, FFs are rare and beloved collectibles. Although only produced by Jensen in saloon version, some have been converted to convertibles privately.
