The Jensen best known by the public and also, after the Jensen-Healey, the most produced Jensen is the Jensen Interceptor. Designed by Carrozzeria Touring, this model unites the best of 3 worlds: Italian design, American bulletproof technology and English craftsmanship. After the first copies were produced by Vignale, production came entirely to England. With the arrival of the Interceptor, a tradition was broken: Jensen stopped using fiberglass and made this GT-Tourer out of steel.

The powerful Chrysler powertrain made this Jensen the dream GT and was soon nicknamed “Gentlemen Express”. Over time, the Interceptor was upgraded three times and we therefore speak of an MK I, an MK II and an MK III version, all equally luxurious for their time.
